How To Change Glows of Any Weapon

The code for the effect of augmentation is LineageEffect.w_vari_b2_000_a

The "b" is for color "BLUE" and "r" for the color "ORANGE".

The number "2" can also be 1, 2, 3, 4, it will give different types of intensity in the glow.

For example let's imagine that you want the effect "BLUE" with the greatest intensity for a sword then you must use the following effect LineageEffect.w_vari_b4_004_a.

Now, to add shine to this one weapon, take a look to this line of weapongrp.dat:

0	6591	1	1	7	10	0	LineageWeapons.angel_slayer_m00_wp			LineageWeaponsTex.angel_slayer_t00_wp			icon.weapon_angel_slayer_i01					-1	950	47	1	0	7	1	1	LineageWeapons.angel_slayer_m00_wp		1	LineageWeaponsTex.angel_slayer_t00_wp			4	ItemSound.dagger_6	ItemSound.sword_small_2	ItemSound.sword_mid_2	ItemSound.public_sword_shing_7	ItemSound.itemdrop_dagger	ItemSound.itemequip_dagger		5	246	132	3	5	12	-3	0	0	0	433	0	1	1	1000	0	-1	0	LineageEffect.c_u004		0.000000	0.000000	0.000000	0.600000	0.100000						LineageWeapons.rangesample		1.100000	0.700000	0.700000	7.000000	0.000000	0.000000							4	-1	-1	-1	icon.weapon_angel_slayer_i01

Find this entry:

0	LineageEffect.c_u004		0.000000	0.000000	0.000000	0.600000	0.100000

Change LineageEffect.c_u004 to LineageEffect.w_vari_r4_004_a.

The numbers following this code "LineageEffect.c_u004" definies the following:

1 number - the position of the gun. (as near the wrist, or the tip of the gun)

2 number - the vertical position for the player. (so it will pass off the blade up or down)

No number 3 - the horizontal position for the player. (so it will pass off the blade)

4 number - the "thickness" of brightness.

No number 5 - the stretch of the glow.

For this effect to show up even in arms +0 just change the following in the Env.int: EnchantMeshShow and EnchantEffectShow to 0.

The following numbers are for the corresponding brightnesses of weapons:

Blue Arguments:

LineageEffect.w_vari_b2_001_a = Fists

LineageEffect.w_vari_r2_006_a = Sword
LineageEffect.w_vari_r2_007_a = Polearm / Staff

Very nice guide, but as ExtremeDwarf says:

In the second part of the second post there is the guide about where to put the glow and how to position it, + a video guide link all made by me, and at the third post of my guide there you can find a list with the weapon glow names.

    • LIVE VERIFICATION? SUMSUB? “IMPOSSIBLE”? ▪ Spoiler: it is possible — if you know who to work with. A client came in with a task to pass **live verification** on **WantToPay**, a Telegram virtual card service. On the platform side — **Sumsub**: liveness check, SMS, manual review. “Fast” and “by eye” simply don’t work here. › What was done: → analyzed the verification scenario and Sumsub requirements → built the correct flow: phone number, email, timing → **completed live verification remotely, without account handover** → handled SMS and confirmation codes → brought the process to final approval ▪ Result: → verification passed → access granted → no flags or repeat requests ▪ Live verification is not luck. It’s scenario-based preparation — not hope. › TG: @mustang_service ( https:// t.me/ mustang_service ) › Channel: Mustang Service ( https:// t.me/ +6RAKokIn5ItmYjEx ) *All data is published with the client’s consent.* #verification #sumsub #livecheck #kyc #case
    • IMPORTANT INFO: In a few days, I will switch to completely new code, written from scratch with a new download system, patch building and management system. The Updater will become true 2026 code with "foolproof systems". I'm going to create a Discord server for customers to request new ideas and features. FIRST CUSTOMERS ARE ALREADY USING THE NEW UPDATER ON LIVE SERVERS! Watch this topic for upcoming info because the new updater is around the corner! Yes, you can still use self-update on the previous updater! No, the new updater won't be compatible with the old patch system! A new build is required, but players who already have game files won't have to download the entire patch again! New templates and updates to existing templates are coming soon! Sneak peek:

    • ## [1.4.1] - 2026-01-29   ### ✨ New Features - **Short Description**: Server owners can add a short tagline (up to 240 characters) on the server info page, under the "Online" status. It appears in the server list (By Votes) for VIP, Gold VIP, and Pinned servers so players see a brief summary at a glance.   ### 🔄 Improvements - **Server Info Page**: Description field is limited to 3000 characters with a character counter; the textarea is vertically resizable. A second **Save Changes** button was added at the bottom (after the description) for easier saving. - **Server Name**: In My Servers → Edit, the server name is read-only and can no longer be changed (avoids accidental changes and naming conflicts). - **Server Rows (By Votes)**: Short descriptions wrap correctly and no longer affect row height; long text is clipped to two lines so the list stays tidy and consistent.   ---
