if you are totaly newbie try to follow this and dont ask all the time. follow the guide

 

-Extract everything in your Local Disk [C:\ or whatever]

-Open "Client-Side" folder,copy everything and paste it to your L2 CT1.5 Folder and overwrite everything it asks.[C:\Program Files\Lineage II or whatever it is]

-Download the hosts http://rapidshare.com/files/92733584/hosts.rar and send it to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc and replace everything.

-You have to download MySQL 5.1 or 5.0 and navicat as well (search forum there are many links)

-Go to the packet and open tools and click on "database_instaler.bat"

-Open "start.bat"

-Then go to the "loginserver" folder and open "startloginserver.bat".

-After that to the "gameserver" folder open "startGameServer.bat"

-GJ!Now you can log in with l2.exe from your system folder.[Admin Account: ID:admin PSWD:admin]

 

-First you need to have static ip.If you don't,go to www.no-ip.com and create no-ip.

 

-Then go to your "gameserver" folder,open config and then open server.properties using notepad.

ExternalHostname=add your static ip or no-ip

InternalHostname=your PC Ip Address which you can find at [start-->Run-->Write cmd-->Write ipconfig-->and get the Ip Address]

-Save and exit

-Now you must open the ports.Go to your modem/rooter and open ports 7777,2106,9014.[see guide here http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm
