The search engine VirusScan (McAfee) received an update of signatures has generated a number of problems in dozens of computers and servers, with the consequent headache for administrators.

The problem would have its origins in the 5664 DAT update, who would like virus checking files are legitimate Internet Explorer browser, as well as some control equipment HP / Compaq. But that's not all the same because neither McAfee was saved from himself, as some of their files were marked as trojans after installing the update.

In fact the system file winvnc.exe transferred to the quarantine area, so that users saw their screens displayed the famous blue screen of death Windows.

The forums have been bombarded by anti-virus users from different countries, so the company is working to fix the problem as soon as possible.
