[Problem]An Old Problem!

I remember postin about the problem that stopped me from using my photoshop,so now i bring it to the surface again and i hope this time we will find a solution!

When i finish my image creation and i want to add fonts it gives me this error...

i don't know how to face this problem but i will tell a maybe solution

 

make a new layer and write on this layer your text i just say a possible solution

Unpack it to the following dirs:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_SYSTEM_USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_SYSTEM_USER_NAME\Application Data\Adobe

and again:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe

i used this one that seems as my problem but it didn't help me out!

 

Why can’t I add text onto the image?

 

Search on the web and found what’s the problem – fonts. The advice given was not so clear and straight forward. So, I went to Fonts folder in my Windows folder. Right-click on Fonts folder and click Install New Font…

 

Click Select All button to select all fonts. Uncheck Copy fonts to Fonts folder option and click Install button.

 

You will be prompted with as many message boxes as the number of fonts in this folder. The message box will ask if you wish to replace the fonts that were already installed. Just click yes all the way. (I don’t know which fonts were not installed correctly, so re-install all fonts)

 

When completed, open Photoshop again and try to add text to your picture. The problem should go away.

 

If at least one of your fonts is not installed correctly, the error will appear again. This seems to be a problem only for Photoshop CS2 and above.

 

Other than the problem above, I find the additional features in this software are much better than the previous versions.

 

 

Will try now the first solution you gave me!

look better he is trying to add the text on the image layer guys....

Help:

if you have finish something do alt ctrl shift and E i think to have a new layer then choose this one and add the text on it

OR

this layer make it rasterize the image and you are OK :)

didn't help me!I get this problem event if the page is blank and i'm trying to just type!
