Server in St. Louis?

Hello Guys i am thinking to buy a server at server4you.com but the servers they provide are in St. Louis America.

I live in Cyprus and the server includes the following:

Amd opteron 144

1gb ram

2x 80 gb hard disk

3000 gb bandwitch

100 mb

 

Its for 150 ppl will it be fine? and if so how much ping i will have?

depends where the server is hosted , if its in America , means more Ping > More lag as you all say , depends on the computer the server , and where you live.

my pc is fine really fine

i live in cyprus and i play with 1mb i play really good will it be fine?

no cause 1mb is good for you but for 100 ppl is good >>?<<No so you have to find a ppl to host you for free...or host your server at webtropia ngz servers etc...

Webtropia, require 12 months contract so its suck.

About ngz-server is one of the best companies, but you may find others better.

LoL i tell some  companies that i have in my mind now lOlen and as i said before u can also search for a ppl who host you for free and the only thing that you have to do is  to make him admin or to give the money from donations to him or something else..

I found a server with the following

    *  AMD64 X2 7750+

    * 8192 MB DDR2 RAM

    * 500 GB 7.200 RPM

    * 2000 GB Traffic p/m

    * 100 mb/1gb up link

 

90 euros only per month and i can pay with paypal... isnt this great for 150 ppl? but i am afraid cause i am 17 years old and its over cheap, is there a trap?
