guyz i checked the site and i did what it said but it doesnt work for me could any1 plz upload the file htaccess for me to check if it does work or if i do sth wrong..basicallymy problem is that i have a no-ip and so i use this one for my server 

(l2mortal.sytes.net)..i write it at the htaccess files i go to priviledges but cannot see the edit priviledges command and i cannot give the ip to  the "Use text file" textfield..

Well, the only thing that i can think is that "l2mortal.sytes.net" is too much big..i m trying with my dns (which is 3 letters smaller) and works great. Maybe you should change your hostname from your dns company

AN easy way exept from make pack preconfigure is to let the ip (exteral and internal)127.0.0.1

and add this in you hosts files 127.0.0.1 localhost

And you can play

He wants to open the database from another pc..If i understood right..

If he just want to open the server for others, i quote killer's words

 

You have to put your ip into the GS configs (see bellow)

And make the right l2.ini (or hosts... For l2.ini check my guide @ stickies at this section)
