[help]with aegis stance

hi guys,i have a problem with a skill "aegis stance":the problem is that if someone want to use this must be equiped with a shield as we know,but when i am not equiped with a shield i can use it also,with a bow,i found the skill:

hi i have another problem, it work only with sheild for me and this is ok but it didn't give nothing...no pdef...how to fix this ?
