Hey Guys, i will make a Information Topic about rent a Server.

 

 

Little Information about Prices:

 

1# Q: Why Windows Server has a higher Price than a Linux?

A: Its because the Windows License, the Company have to pay for that

2# Q: Unlimited Traffic, its realy mean unlimited?

A: Not realy... Most Company have a limit. Thats mean if you go over that Limit... they reduce your I-Net connection (Most Time not at all)

Example: 1.000 GB/Month , 100 MBit/s  , and u go higher than the 1.000 GB they reduce it to 10 MBit/s

or you have to pay extra for it , but it depends on your Provider

2# Q: Minimum duration of rent a server & cancelation period?

A: Thats a Important thing, if u dont read that its can be happend you have to rent it longer than u want!

And read how long u have the cancelation period. Than u know when you are able to stop to rent the Server.

1# Allways read their FAQ and the Contract terms!

 

2# Ask, or search in google what other people wrote about that Company

maybe you find Information like bad Support, or scammer Company etc

Rent a Server in a other Country

 

My Opinion is that u always have realy think twice if u realy wanna do this!

 

I will do a exmaple with People from other Country that wanna host in my homecountry Germany

 

 

Reason:

 

# Some German Company just rent their server only for Germans / Austria or Swiss People because first they are save by Laws if the Customers dont pay so they will not get in trouble if the Customer live in a other Country. Thats why some Company just have a Support only in German language.

 

# Support, If u have problems with Paying or with your Server and the Support is only in german language its hard to solved that Problem.

And if they dont have a e-mail support u have to pay for a Serverice Phone Hotline that is already in Germany expensive that kind of numbers and if u call from a other Country its more than double of the price!

 

# If you cant understand the language , you can step in a Trap or u have to pay dues what stand in their terms and u did not knew it

 

#The Server is under the Law where he stands. So dont drop warez on it and think u are save against police or other things ;)

Hm... I am 17, i am from Cyprus, i have a VISA and paypal account and i want to rent a dedicated server... i dont know much about this and i really need some help... tell me a site or some more info pls...

I Think The Cheapest Companies, Which You Can Rent A Dedicated Server Are...

 

1.)  http://webtropia.com

 

2.) http://serverloft.com

 

But Be Careful!!! You Can't Stop Paying The Time You Want.... You Must Pay At Least 1 Year!

I totally agree with you but i suggest to the feature admins that if you know that it will be sometime that you will NOT have that much money then you shouldn't rent a server.

@that's a good guide but i still agree that it is risky.

wtf are u talking about... what they can do if u wont pay them? whole world is like this... its simple i rent the server then i find a better companie or i cant afford paying and i stop paying... i need a greek site or a company near cyprus...

Depends of the contract period, many many providers makes monthly contracts (like serverloft) and no more worries.

But, you must be carefull about the 3 / 6 / 12 months contracts. as you MUST PRE-PAY them before they give your the server, the only person who will loose something is you, and not them. cuz If you stop the contract the 2nd month and you prepayed for 3 months, they got the money for 3 months, but you loose your money...you always loose, not them :D

For linux users:

Very cheap company and you wont get in any troubles if you're using Patch or running L2OFF Files.

Because it is hosted in Luxembourg

      Hi everyone,   I’m currently playing Lineage 2 on the L2Damage server and I’d like to know the current status of botting tools there. With all the server updates and protections, many tools stop working or get detected pretty fast, so I wanted to ask the community:   Is anyone currently using any bot on L2Damage that still works reliably? Have you had any success with tools like Adrenaline, L2Walker, L2Tower, or similar? Any general experience or feedback about what’s still usable on this server?   I know every server has different protections, so any up-to-date info or personal experience would be appreciated.   Thanks in advance.
