Let's Start:

Go to Server\login\config

server1.jpg

Then Server\gameserver\config

width=640 height=480http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e78/vagner12/server2.jpg[/img]

Beginning to make

Well .. In my case I will make a tutorial for only 2 servers, but with this you can learn to do 3,4,5 and etc xD

1 - Separate computers, what will be the LoginServer, Server1 and Server2

You can rotate the Login server in Server1 and Server2 leave only with the gameserver

We do as follows:

PC1 = Server1 and Login

PC2 = Server 2

Setup LoginServer

# This is transmitted to the clients connecting from an external network, so it has to be a public IP or resolvable hostname

IP FOR INTERNET ExternalHostname = PC1

# This is transmitted to the client from the same network, so it has to be a local IP or resolvable hostname

LAN IP = InternalHostname OF THE PC1

# Bind ip of the loginserver, use * to bind on all available IPs

LoginserverHostname =*

LoginserverPort = 2106

LoginTryBeforeBan = 20

GMMinLevel = 100

# The port on which login will listen for GameServers

LoginPort = 9014

# If set to true any GameServer can register on your login's free slots

AcceptNewGameServer = True

# If False, True place

# If false, the license (after the login) will not be shown

ShowLicence = True

# Database info

Driver = com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

# Driver = org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver

# Driver = com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriv er

URL = jdbc: mysql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: hsqldb: hsql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: sqlserver: / / localhost / database = l2jdb/user = sa / password =

Login = root

Password = root

MaximumDbConnections = 10

# Here you put the information in the database of PC1, which logically is the database and login to Server1

Close and save the file

Setting SERVER1

Let's start

Make installation of aa database of course running into the folder database_installer.bat TOOLS

Full Install and Login to GameServer

Ok, let the setup

C: \ Server \ gameserver \ config \ server.properties

# This is transmitted to the clients connecting from an external network, so it has to be a public IP or resolvable hostname

# If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave *

ExternalHostname = 200200200

# Your IP WAN, Internet

# This is transmitted to the client from the same network, so it has to be a local IP or resolvable hostname

# If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave *

InternalHostname = 10.1.1.1

# Your IP LAN, Network

# Bind ip of the loginserver, use * to bind on all available IPs

LoginserverHostname =*

LoginserverPort = 2106

LoginTryBeforeBan = 20

# The host and port Loginserver

LoginPort = 9014

LoginHost = IP of the LAN PC that is the login, if PC1, that even InternalHost, only in this gameserver

# This is the server id that the gameserver will request (ie 0 is BARTZ)

RequestServerID = 0

# Record where it is

# If set to true, the login will give an other id to the server if the requested id is allready reserved

AcceptAlternateID = True

# If set True False

# Database info

Driver = com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

# Driver = org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver

# Driver = com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriv er

URL = jdbc: mysql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: hsqldb: hsql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: sqlserver: / / localhost / database = l2jdb/user = sa / password =

Login = root

Password = root

MaximumDbConnections = 10

# Set the DB to your liking

Setting SERVER2

Run the tool database_installer also found in the TOOLS folder that you copied.

Now go in the configuration of your GameServer

# Bind ip of the gameserver, use * to bind on all available IPs

GameserverHostname =*

GameserverPort = 7778

# Change the port to 7778

# This is transmitted to the clients connecting from an external network, so it has to be a public IP or resolvable hostname

# If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave *

ExternalHostname = 200200200

# Your IP WAN, Internet

# This is transmitted to the client from the same network, so it has to be a local IP or resolvable hostname

# If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave *

InternalHostname = 10.1.1.1

# IP of PC2 LAN, Network

# Bind ip of the loginserver, use * to bind on all available IPs

LoginserverHostname =*

LoginserverPort = 2106

LoginTryBeforeBan = 20

# The host and port Loginserver

LoginPort = 9014

LoginHost = IP of the LAN PC that is the login, if PC1

# This is the server id that the gameserver will request (ie 0 is BARTZ)

RequestServerID = 1

Place # 1

# If set to true, the login will give an other id to the server if the requested id is allready reserved

AcceptAlternateID = True

# If set True False

# Database info

Driver = com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

# Driver = org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver

# Driver = com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriv er

URL = jdbc: mysql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: hsqldb: hsql: / / localhost/l2jdb

# URL = jdbc: sqlserver: / / localhost / database = l2jdb/user = sa / password =

Login = root

Password = root

MaximumDbConnections = 10

# Set the DB to your liking

Now, you go to the folder of PC1 LOGIN

Server \ login \

and run the following file: RegisterGameServer.bat

width=640 height=317http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e78/vagner12/server3.jpg[/img]

e will ask for an ID Gameserver here you choose what is the name of the second server

List of IDs you can see the file servername.xml found in the folder of LoginServer

In the case of files, I chose 1, which is Sieghardt after you tighten 1 that represents the ID, press ENTER and wait, it will create a file in the folder of LoginServer usually with this name:

hexid (server 1). txt

You will rename your own hexid.txt to just copy it and then go to CONFIG folder of PC2, GAMESERVER Inside the folder, replacing the existing file

I Configuration

You can build your gameserver into another machine that is not in network

doing the same way I spoke in tutoral so that the line:

LoginHost = 127.0.0.1

You will leave the Internet IP of PC1 as the servers are not connected in LAN

Another thing that is interesting

This line:

RequestServerID = 0

Remember when I was in and chose RegisterGameServer.bat ID 1?

Yeah, the setup for the server2, I put there the ID that I chose it in RegisterGameServer.bat

Now set the rates and so the 2 servers to your liking

Call this after the sequence:

LoginServer

Server1

Server2

DONE!
