Pc problem when i try to boot.

well i have one disk with windows xp called cobra...

i have the boot settings and when i try to boot

it dont tell me "press any key to boot from menu"

and it make some installs

then it stop and it give

Microsoft Corporation © 2007....bla bla bla

A:\ _

the underline is blinked..

it want to write something but i dont know what...

can any1 help me?

It's a private distribution of windows? I mean it's made from a user? Is the disk bootable? I've made a guide to show how to make a bootable disk.

i think i had the same prob when my hard disk got Burned from electricity (stupid UPS didnt work) and my PC didnt read boot CD...That was my prob and i am just telling it because its similar...

disable A: drive should help

The CD is missing critical windows files, ans it tries to load them from another drive (in this case Drive A:\)

So find a normal/working version of windows to install, those custom ones, are almost always faulty...
