If server is small - it's invisible, but when the community grows it becomes a threat to NC. They will try to kill all top servers, so if this would happen you could:

a)go to a medium/low populated server

b)create server from some place where NC has no power

c)hack NCsoft

NCSoft don't have jurisdiction in, at least, 243 out of the 246 (that mid west illegal state is not a country ;D ) countries.

 

The FBI don't have jurisdiction in 245 out of them (only in US and in that mid west illegal state mentioned above).

 

"Big brother" is just a dumb tv show (and not an abuse to US civil rights) in, again, 245 countries.

 

Now, and the important point here: To don't have jurisdiction equals to eat a d***, law wise.

 

 

If NCsoft closes any server it will be just fine. Maybe some day admins realize where to put their servers.

Didn't they tell that they will close all servers when they closed l2extreme ;)? Like some1 already said, they will close 2-3 servers hoping that other ones will be scared and they will close themselves. Even if they do, its just a game, u shouldn't care so much ;) there are thousands of them
