LF what is variation_icon={[];[];[];[]} in weapongrp.dat ?

Hello,
I am wondering what is variation_icon={[];[];[];[]}  used for in weapongrp.dat ?  i tried to put 1 i get crit error,  i tried to put an icon name (letters instead of numbers) but then i cannot even save the file, meaning it is a number probably.

i cannot find any exemples in any chronicles where it has any value ...
