So i want to edit the Loading screen that is in L2Font-e.utx inside System textures and i need to decrypt the file to add/replace the loading02-e.dds file.[HIGH FIVE CLIENT]

I saw a couple of tutorials, i followed them but every time i try to open the utx with L2ViewUTX OR UTPT OR Unreal ED it gives me an error.I tried a couple of different decryption methods but none worked.

Is there a step by step tutorial or a solution to this particular errors i receive?

Thanks in advance ^_^

viewutx does not work well with custom keys or retail files past interlude

utpt is the same when trying to view the texture

you cant open encrypted files in unreal

l2decrypt is not enough for retail files since there are 2 layers

after you passed it through l2 decrypt do it with l2tool

Thank you for the information.
I used l2tool and l2toolo ( the old ones ) but they didnt work.
i just tried with the java one you recommended and it worked.

Thank you ^_^

Now i am facing a new issue.the Size of the Loading screen is prefixed at 1024x768 that means that in modern resolutions there will be black areas on the right left and bottom of the screen.

i would like to use a loading screen that fits 1920x1080 and in case you have a smaller screen( Laptops) 1366x768.

in case what i say is not clear here is a screenshot of what area the 1024x1024 loading screen covers on my screen : http://prntscr.com/7irq0n
and here is what i would like it to look like  : http://prntscr.com/7irrkj

( it's an example image )

P.S i tried to replace the loading screen with an 2048x2048 image but it didnt replace it.

when i try to import the image i posted with 2048x2048 dimensions it doesn't accept it but i have seen loading screens without the black areas on the right and left.
