Zaken before Gracia Epilogue

In Gracia Epilogue they introduced the Instance system for Zaken. I am having hard time remembering exactly how was it before that. For example in Gracia Final.. There is no instance, so you've gotta run devil's isle and the caves and jump and enter the ship. Then you wait for the door to open. 00.00 to 00.12 it is open and then it closes, but that's the strong Zaken, one that you need a strong party to kill.

 

My question is, was there the equivalent of daytime zaken before the Gracia Epilogue patch? I can't remember ever killing an easy Zaken raid before Epilogue. If there is a weaker one (aka daytime or whatever it was called back then) how do you enter?

It was only one zaken back then, After 00:00 he was using a passive skill that was giving him 20% more regeneration until 06:00 when he removed this passive and his regeneration came back to normal. That's all.

There wasn't any daytime zaken. It was just like you said but at night as devilking said he had 20 % more regeneration.

It was only a month before now that i reworked Zaken for acis.

In theory Zaken is an undead at daytime and his powers are gone, but after midnight his power comes back as he is a undead creature.

Ah, i see then. Just as i thought. Thanks a bunch, guys.

One more thing- i actually went on a GF server just now and went to Zaken (i had a wonderful time remembering the way :)). I went with a bishop and i hit him with the skills that kill undead. Guess what? He actually took quite a lot of dmg. I was able to crit him for 2400 with a b grade weapon. I think that's quite a lot, because i went there after that and hit him with a destroyer and a frenzy crit was actually lower. Anyhow, is this normal (Zaken being undead and sustaining dmg like a normal undead mob) or it is just a buggy server. It said L2OFF but who knows, right? :)

On midrate we always raided it with my 2 friends, Totaly 3 players. 2 Bishops and 1 SPH in order to clean minions. Altho you need to know the way inside ship otherwise you will fail.

I know the way, that's not the problem. So, its normal to raid him with bishops. I see :)
