I tried myself with 4 different file editors and they all don't allow me to save.

 

skillgrp.dat:

7065        1              3              0              -1            0              0.000000 0                                              icon.skill1393 0              0              0              0              -1              -1

skillname-e.dat:

7065        1              Anti-Buff Shield Toggle skill that protects you from unwanted buffs.. none none

If you're using Vista/Windows 7, you may want to try running your editor by right clicking on it, then choose "Run as administrator", edit your file and try saving it.

Don't use spaces . Use tabs .

 

Instead of using 5 or 6 spaces use one tab  . Thats how lineage reads those files . If you put spaces like you did l2 fileedit is unable to save it because if it save it lineage will not work :)

tried already, it saves I open and it's the same fiile, my line doesn't add

are you sure you have the right values ? can you really add "-1 " as a value ?

I am sure, I cannot add the second line to skillname-e.dat too, it like saves, but when I open it again, it hasn't added. Can you please try
