Personally I like URL shortning like Adf.ly better then Pay per download aka PPD.

 

The thing is with most PPD sites people have to take a survey and fill in personal details. People would rather pay a dime then fill in personal details like phone numbers and stuff.

So 9 of 10 times people skip the site and search for another download.

 

Therefor your better off with URL shortners like Adf.ly and Linkbucks they will pay you for every click on your download link not much maybe a few pennies but if you got many files and some popular you could earn a nice second income.
