After a year when, Bon Jovi reached #1 in Greek Charts with their new album "Greatest Hits", another rock/metal album will achieve to hit #1 on the Greek Charts!

The good vibe for FIREWIND's current album, "Few Against Many", continues to spread. Having just recently been presented a Swedish gold award for their latest single, "Wall Of Sound", FIREWIND can now proudly announce that "Few Against Many" has re-climbed the official album charts in their native Greece to occupy the amazing # 1 position. In fact, the release has stayed on top of the charts for 2 consecutive weeks already!

FIREWIND's Gus G. checked in to comment about the # 1 spot as follows: "This is a historical moment for FIREWIND, as it's our first #1 album and a historical moment for the Greek Metal scene, as we're the first Metal band from this country to achieve this. Our legions of fans have only been growing in our homeland and together we prove that Heavy Metal music is strong despite mainstream media's ignorance all these years! Many thanks to everyone for supporting us and catapulting "Few Against Many" to the top!

Additionally and in good timing for such announcement, FIREWIND will be playing some very special Anniversary shows by the end of 2012 in Greece, for which Gus G. adds: "2012 is the 10th year of FIREWIND in discography. To celebrate this, we will end our touring activities this year with some very special and intimate shows in Greece and more specifically with 2 shows in Athens and 2 shows in Thessaloniki. We plan to play different setlists each night and perform several songs of ours we've never done live before. Stay tuned as more info on the dates will be revealed soon!"
