Hello everyone i need really help with my computer. (Old one)

 

Well as i was sitting in my bedroom i thought why don't take my old computer to fix him up.

 

It has a small problem.

 

When i insert the disc to format it says Press any key for boot menu.

 

The problem is My keyboard don't works only then.And i can't press a key to fomat and it runs again the windows.

 

I can't format and that's bad i need your help fast it could be nice if someone could help me thanks.

hmm, if you have windows 7 open the pc , insert the cd and press install windows , after

Custom(Advanced)

or go to Bios setup and select first boot device (CD-ROM)

Well yes i done the wrong and added on my old pc win 7.

And now i have to install again windows xp because with windows xp my computer it's fine for (msn,skype,internet) some games etc :)

 

But I can't install windows xp from the desktop.

Yea the problem is that they keyboard dont works when it says. (Press any key for boot menu......) i press a key and nothing happens something like a don't press anything and windows starting normally.

do not open boot menu. open BIOS setup! and select from there the first device as (CD-ROM)

and when you press save and exit your pc will restart and will open the cd instalation automatically.

i think it says press F2 for bios i am gonna try it. But my computer has 2 Discs... :D

so whats the problem? open bios setup,go to advanced settings(if i remember good,im not sure) and select the device that you have inside the windows xp cd.

Actually it says Boot.

But i told ya when it runs auto the boot it says to press any key for boot menu AND I PRESS BUTTONS NOTHING HAPPENS. so it can't continue the format and it runs normally the windows 7

normally when you set CD-ROM as first device for boot and computer will restart must says something like this:

Press any key to boot from CD-DVD ...

I told ya that it says this message but i can't press buttons.

I press any butotn and nothing happens.Only then my ketboard don't works,Otherwise it works fine
