Cached is the medium that allows the database to communicate with l2server.exe, so cached scripts are files that allow cached to know what ID is for what, and as they are .txt files and in the same format and layout as the files in the script folder then what makes you think they run in a SQL database?

You do not need to touch them, if your not going to use them.

They serve as Index files for adding static objects to players (Skills, items, etc etc).

Thus need to be updated with custom stuff you want to use with Cached Admin Sockets.

Such, if you want to be able to add a custom dagger you added to your server via Cached to a player, it will need to be added to the itemdata.txt of cachedscript.

The more "clientside looking" files are not really "needed".

Atleast ive never found a direct impact by not updating them.
