hello guys , my friend have a hosting server but its windows is Linux and he don't know how to open the server from it

You can connect via shell clients.

 

Download putty and u can manage your dedicated server.

 

Take a look at basic putty commands on google.

 

And by the way, it wasn't really good idea to buy linux without any expericence with using this OS..

yea i downloaded putty but i didn't found the right commands

i uploaded the server pack but i dont know how to open it

Try To Use WinSCP to connect to your host ;) you can edit file and see folders and with right click on file you have a lot of commands

You will have to run files such as register GS, login/game servers using .sh files (via putty for example)

Yea Matim is right its a whole different ball game. you changed the environment the GS and LS are running in so its a little different to get the server up and running.

if u use debian  or related  sudo apt-get install lxde and . after use vnc .
