The point is you can open a pro-like server on your first try. If you try you will succeed, if you down you will stay down. First you are reading some guides, take a look in custom packs, analyzing the codes, and start your own server just for friends. Try new codes, fixes and thing just for your friends so you wont be embarassed or judged. With your friends feedback and your checks you will be able to fix something in zero time. But trust me it wont be that easy

you can work with a cms not pure html code. try Drupal, jumla or a blog cms. Search google for a CMS you can find plenty of them

nice idea of creating l2 emulator with C. Firstly Java is definatly faster than C itself. on the other hand C will give you more options to creating something like that instead of Java. L2 is working good with java engine but since computers are developed that much that can give so much speed it wont be a problem to run an emulator in C language. If you want to make something really respectful in C you must really be a really good programmer. You will need month or maybe years of work (and feedback ofc) to develop a fully working pack with no problems or stucks at all. Anyways i wish you good luck with it and have fun with it. Respect.
