  7. i got the html to work; though when clicking on the skill, the npc does not provide the buffs nor an animation. is this an AI fault?
  8. buffer npc's html appears, but dancer npc's html does not appear. the ai.obj, npc_pch, and npcdata has been configured, but i do not know what's wrong. here's a screenshot of how it appears when i click on npc dancer: i'm using fidow's code for npc buffer fyi.

  10. what file do i need to edit in order to change the new player's character start level? I did something, and my char creation level starts at 52 now.. i dont know what i did. someone please give me some assistance :-\
  11. how can i determine the position of an area either through, preferably ingame or server side, so i can set my npc's to spawn? what is the format, etc? ^.^

  13. Alright. I have solved plenty of issues with the assisstance of this board. Now, whenever my client is trying to connect to server, the game crashes; with the L2Server indicating: d:\work_bak\20051222\l2server\ThreadLocalWorldMap.h][1658] removing not linked item What does this mean? Plus I can create chars with the same name. Why isn't char's nick uniqueness in effect?
  14. I'm getting a bunch of errors on CacheD indicating that there is something wrong with the npc server. No record in table. npc dbname[...] inside the [...] there are over hundreds of NPC mobs that are there... What is wrong?

  16. The second issue, is that on CacheD screen, I'm getting: Error sql:SELECT TOP 1 * FROM hellbound_point(0) It seems that hellbound_point does not exist. Should I add that to lin2world or lin2db, or are there any other suggestions?
  17. On L2LogD, I'm getting Error sql: insert into LYEAR_MONTH_DATE_log_realtime(act time, log_id, actor, actor_account, target...) where the YEAR, MONTH, DATE, shows the current time frame. Error 42S02:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Invalid object name 'L2010_05_28_log_realtime_1) It seems as the generated log says that the query is trying to insert into an non-existing table. How do I go about resolving this issue?
  18. I have the main server executable loaded up. To point my 'l2.ini' to my WAN IP, I followed the USER guide to decrpyt: l2encdec -l l2.ini And encrpyt: l2encdec -e 413 dec-l2.ini This is an interlude pack. However, whenever I execute L2.exe, nothing starts. But when I revert back to the original l2.ini which is version 413, the executable starts fine. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another method to point my client to connect to my server so I can log ingame?
  19. Hello. I am currently using hAuthD as the auth system. Although no errors show up in the hAuthD box, opening CacheD gives me an error: Can't connect to log server. which indicates that, I believe, hAuthD is not communicating properly. I am receiving no SQL errors. I have searched for awhile and if someone is willing to provide the proper procedure to setup hAuthD, i'll be glad to take the advice. System Specifications: Win Server 2003 x64 MSSQL 2005
