allso i was wondering could it be the patched system folder? if so how would i make my own to match my server? sorry im new at this i have tried changing the ip in the xml file to my ip still nothing and my ping is still 9999 when trying to connect

my subnet in ip-conig is 255.0.0.0 how would i add this to the xml properly

nope still same problem wouldn't be a protocol problem would it? if so how do find out what version i need to set to or localhost problem maybe? or l2.ini? im totally out of ideas on this i have been messing around with this for a couple of days on and off so far cheers for all help and advice in advance
