    i play in x45 pvp server (Gracia Final) and i have shillien templar lvl 85 with Vesper Heavy and Vesper Cutter (Sword) Health +8 (augment:might lvl 10 passive).I have zaken,ant queen,baium,valakas,antharas.The most players of the server have 1 or 2 parts with resist holy,dark,wind,earth attributes at their armors.Few players have resist water and fire in their armor (especially resist fire). So i did my weapon fire lvl 4 attribute. Is this a good choice?I forgot to mention that this server has Certification skills and i am using Counter Haste,Counter Barrier and Counter Defence.Is this a good choice too? Finally, the dyes i use are

    Str +4 Con -4,

    Dex +4 Con -4,

    Dex +1 Con -1.

    Please tell me your opinions about the resists i might use in my armor too. i am afraid of paladins,summoners and Daggers a bit. I really need your help. Ty very much :) 

     

    First of all, if majority of server has fire resistance it is vewry stupid to put fire on weapon. Since you are SK, your element should be Dark (skills u mentioned, Leech life and so), but you can use other elements on other weapons (on bow, hammer).

    on armor use holy,earth,wind, fire and water resistance. SK is very offensive tank, so going dex+/str+/con- is kind of wrong. u need that con (to save u against many stuns/paralyses). For olympiad i would use dex+/str- with Warrior-haste, Enchanter-barrier and Summoner-spirit. for PvP with full buffs u can change dyes to dex+/con- and str+/con-, but dont go too high.

    think about this and try it

  2. in gracia Dagger with -9 STR, 150 elemental dagger fire, and all skills enchanted to fire = beast...... forget about increase STR on a dagger, he dont need it. And btw, elemental system dont gives u "p.atak", gives u more elemental damage

     

    Finally someone to give proper answer. Game mechanics are strict. and for dagger +dex/+con/-str is best. Dagger uses mostly only skills and for that +dex will give more crit rate/speed/evasion, also elements just adds elemental damage to attack (its good to combine element+element on skill=more elemental damage). since all dagger lack hp, +con is great against stun/paralyse attack. also +wit/-int will add more root and dark resistance.

     

    but +dex/+con/-str are only dyes for PvP that dagger will use (Interlude and Gracia), maybe on some L2J servers this mechanic is fvcked up, but on official is like that.

    I wanted to contribute a bit to this.

    So, while working on Smeli's Gracia Epilogue files, I have noticed that icarus weapons dont use soulshots and their SAs dont work the way they should.

    Reason is simple, in itemdata crystal type for icarus weapons is =none. We have to change that like this:

    I took this specialy because u have to add item_skill=[s_opt_focus_medium_cri111] in order to give weapons SA. (in this example we are working on icarus sawsword focus). after changing this, u have to add relevant skill to skilldata:

    skill_begin skill_name = [s_opt_focus_medium_cri111] /* [특수능력 포커스] */ skill_id = 8001 level = 1 operate_type = P magic_level = 111 effect = {{p_critical_rate;12.43;diff};{p_hit;{all};5;per};{p_hit;{all};5;per}} skill_end

     

    u can use forgotten blade's SAs as base. after u change and add necessary thing, compile it and try.

     

     

  4. Hi all,

     

    I used gracia L2Off pack (from smeli) and I started with developing (more lik learning). I got myself geodata and other things (html), checked it all.

    I notice that in Smeli's pack Icarus weapons dont work with soulshots, i fixed that (that was easy), just like I added skills related to those weapons.

     

    Problem for me starts when I want to add global gatekeeper. Thing is that I have all necessary files. I add it to NPC data, but when it comes to L2NASC and AI, i stuck there.

    Thing is that I would like to learn how and what tool to use to prepare all for L2NASC and AI.

     

    I am aware that my question is noobish.

     

    In share forum I will post the solution for icarus weapons, thing is that the same solution can be used for many things.

     

  5. Hi to all

     

    I am relatively new to L2Off developing. But there is time for everything and I wanted to start with smth.

    I have downloaded Smeli's Gracia Final L2Off server pack, and easily managed to start it up.

     

    Thing is that I would like to add more NPC's, items etc.

     

    I am aware of fact that I should use compilers and makers that are included in Smeli's pack, but when I try to insert something into Smeli's scripts, afterward I get L2Server crash and many errors while loading.

     

    Is there any guide for compiling. I was trying to search, but all I can find is how to add 1 NPC or 1 Item.

     

    I want to add multiply NPC's and etc.

  6. well you talk about client modded stuff so the problem maybe in the client mod(which is always make chars op).

     

    anyway what subclasses you have?

    well I didnt understand why do you think I talk about modded client, maybe only epic weapon/armor, but its on both sides (server and client). Anyways my question was from a perspective of player and I was asking for my main class (HellKnight).

     

    I have 3 subclasses: Destroyer, Storm Screamer, Abys Walker.

    I did a little search but I couldnt find anything that can help me in this that I already dont know. I am playing Hellknight (level 85) on L2 Crusader's Zion server.

    I have +10 Epic Sword (Focus), I have Basalt Hammer +10 (health), Draconic Bow +6(Focus), Dusk Shield +3 (epic), CR Armor +6 (Epic), CR Jewels +6, Baium +6 and Zaken +6.

    The question is that lately wizards/mages got very powerful, they have high magic critical rate. I did my subclasses certifications and now I have Emergent Ability Magical Defense level 6, Master Ability Focus, Master Ability Attack and Master Ability Magical Defense.

     

    Now I am thinking what else can I do to increase my magical defense, since it has became very painful to participate in oly. Problem is the same as with ingame PVP, wizards/mages.

     

    What augments, dyes and the rest do u suggest me?

    I joined this great community yesterday, and all I can say is that I am already fascinated.

     

    I am L2 OFF and L2J dev, and I have been working on developing for few years, but what I find out is that this community has the best solutions for developers.
