1. Yesterday I helped him with his Server Problems. I played on his server and saw none messages.

So open cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\amxx.cfg and search for a line like this:

//amx_imessage "Welcome to %hostname%" "000255100"

If you could see any line with "amx_imessage" in it, just post the code here. And then I will help you.

If there is no line with "amx_imessage", just insert a line like this:

amx_imessage "Welcome to %hostname%" "000255100"

 

%hostname% has not to be changed. ingame it would be your hostname ;)

000255100 - is a color in RGB format.

 

btw... "imessage.amxx" has to be enabled in plugins.ini.

 

2. There is another method for ingame say, which I recommend much more (hax0rs method was for center message).

In chat:

@ Hi all gamers

 

-- this will send a message to the server in white color: "Hi all gamers"

 

@y Hi all gamers

 

 

-- this will send a message to the server in yellow color: "Hi all gamers"

 

Known color shortcuts:

r - red

g - green

b - blue

y - yellow

m - magenta

c - cyan

 

3. sorry hax0r, but youre method should be precised a bit more. Correct usage:

 

amx_vote "Question here." "Yes" "No"

 

Short - Yes. Yes, he has to forward those port ranges(ALL).

Also you should know his internet ip. if you get a ip like this: 192.168.X.X - THIS IS WRONG!

To know what IP he has, just visit whatismyip.com.

 

My IP atm:89.57.34.235

So if you want to connect to my (imagine) server you have to type in console:

connect 89.57.34.235:27015

Maybe for the others it would be also helpful:

- rtv didnt work for him because he had a writing mistake in his plugins.ini

- he didnt forward ports and he didnt know his own router name

- I helped him by using "Teamviewer".

1. Maps which will be voted, are defined in:

amxmodx/configs/mapcycle.txt

2. Type it in chat. Everybody can type this command

3. "Youre Text here" was not created by the mapvoting plugin.

Can we start now?

Ok, ok... let's start ;P

 

1. AMXX should be installed and work.

2. Download "Galileo" (Mapvote Plugin)

3. Put the rar file into cstrike

4. Unrar (push "Yes" if it asks to override)

5. Go there: counter-strike\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs

6. Open "plugins.ini"

7. search the lines:

nextmap.amxx		; displays next map in mapcycle
mapchooser.amxx		; allows to vote for next map

and add ";" before the lines

then it should look like that:

 

;nextmap.amxx		; displays next map in mapcycle
;mapchooser.amxx		; allows to vote for next map

 

Add this line at the end:

galileo.amxx

Save the file now.

 

8. Start CS

9. Create the Server

10. Wait 3 Minutes and than type in chat: "rtv" or "rockthevote"

11. Vote should start ;)

And why (the hell), do you want it all in a package? I mean, if you think like that "rapidshare waiting time sux", just use some anti-waitingtime programs. If you need them just google for cryptload or rsd.

Of course it also works on no-steam servers. But often there are problems with cs engine, because of ancient files^^.

With this one you can change the skins of custom weapons or players. But you can't change models ;)

Go into youre "cstrike/maps" folder and delete all files, which start with the prefix "awp_"

This leads CS to download maps again. So this should prevent issues with map problems.

No, its not like Wallhack. But you can see people much better than before. Hmm, dunno why it doesnt work for you guys, but it worked for me (CS 1.6 Steam Version & CS 1.6 Nonsteam).

Maybe test another server - because some server are forcing a high value.

Secondly you have to tell the others where they have to install these package.

They need this path:

 

cstrike/maps

 

So guys, jsut go into the folder, where you have CS 1.6 installed and search for folder "cstrike". Secondly into "maps".
