Well as far i played dagger classes i learned so much.I`ma share some stuff with u guys - How to PvP with a dagger class!
First of all lemme introduse u to the classes:
Treasure Hunter(Adventurer) - Balanced class + dash+attack speed boost
Abyss Walker(Ghost Hunter) - Low CON and DEX ,but good STR.Most deadlyest dagger class IMO
Plainswalker(Wind Rider) - High DEX ,but low CON and STR.High attack speed ,fast reuse of blows and lethal increasing abilities.
I recommend you to use following dyes :
DEX +4 STR -4
CON +3 STR -3
WIT +4 INT -4
Okay so lets proceed to the guide..First of all : Gears & buffs.
Gears : Draconic set +6 (or +3) , Angel Slayer + Haste + 3 and Tateossian or RB jewel set on higher as possible.
Buffs : As far as I know ,dagger classes do NOT need p.Atk.Yep thats right!They'r blows aren't affected of p.atk ,so the only buffs u need are :
Windwalk , Haste , Death Whisper , Shield , Greater Shield , Mental Shield , Bless the body and soul and Prophecy of Wind
Song/Dances : Dance of Fury/Fire , Song of Earth/Wind/Water/Vitality/Champion/Renewal/Warding.
Now the pvp part:
Every dagger has Bluff skill on 77 level.Anyways i recommend you to be atleast 79 for pvp.
Dagger vs Mage : You have high chance to kill him.First skill MUST be Bluff and then immideatly backstab after this spam blows.If you have CP pots spam them too.Mage should be down in 3-4 blows.
Dagger vs Archer : Because archers are high ranged fighters you have to spam trick/switch(switch for th only) till you get to him.If your HP goes 50% or lower ,use Ultimate Evasion.First skill MUST be Blinding blow if you are GH,WR.If you are dagg ,use Bluff then spam cp/blows and trick/switch as more as possible.If you are GH/WR First skill MUST be Blinding Blow for a backshow and speed up (in case he runs).Then immedeatly do Bluff and spam cp/blows and trick as much as possible.He have to be down in a few blows.
Dagger vs Titan : You don't have much chance ,but if you are WR/GH you have.Because titans have low speed and you have high , dont let him near you!If he stuns you ,try to run as faster as you can soon as the stun is removed.If you are GH you have some chances by tanking.As we know GH has drain health + freezing strike /posion / sting etc.Those skills come in handy in this case.Spam trick and those skills.If he gets near you ,do Blinding Blow then Bluff and run again and resume the tactic.
Dagger vs Tank : No big chances , just run or use the titan tactic.You can relay in lethal rate here ^^
Dagger vs Dagger : Here is a true part.Both close fighting type classes ,so try to Bluff trick/switch as much as possible.If you can hex him ,do so.Dont ever ever EVER show your back to a dagger class!If you do ,you will probably lose the PvP.In few words - Spam cp/switch/trick/blows/bluff till he is down.Relay on the damage and gear here.
Dagger vs OverLord : No big chances ,same as tank.
Dagger vs Gladiator : Here you have chances,but small.Both close fighting classes ,so its gonna be a tuff one.Here first use the titan tactic , then when he gets low try to spam trick/switches while you recover hp/cp.PvP will be long if you do this,but atleast you have some chances.Don't let him TSS/DSS you cuz you can die in 1 hit.You will probably do him 700~ damage ,but if he's unbuffed you can easly pwn him.
Dagger vs Tyrant : You have chances if you aren't stunned.Spam trick switch and bluff and try to go around him (his back where your powers are most deadly).Do him a Power Break if u are GH and if you can.Same like mage tactic ,but remember spam cp's in order to survive!
Dagger vs Summoner : On full buff you won't have problems killing him.Never hit the pet!Only the master !You can try trick/switch the pet ,but its useless imo.

P att DOES increase your damage with blows BUT at a certain extent. Lets give an example... you have 2k p att with dagger and u blow some random npc for 3k. Then you have about 2.5k p att, youll blow the same random npc for about 3.2k - 3.3k. It increases the blow damage regardless but only a little. If your a poor mofo then waste enchants on high + armor and jewels. If ur a rich mofo then go ahead and make urself a red dagger. Its your choice.
I started to read this topic and this post is pure bullsh1t.
Daggers enchanted and patk effects can be seen when u hit with /attack, tho with blows are different, for higher blow u need buffs/stuff that increase crit dmg... maybe it was already explained didn't read whole topic :P

Well even if you do that if the server files are -beep-ed you will see the black icons even after re-installing the files through the autoupdater. You should ask your server administrator to fix the Animation folder in which is located the animation of the buffs and their icons.

I bet u are not playing in official server...so server where u play is illegal as well :)

I have problem with my hellbound client:
Improve buffs from pp/ee/wc/pp have black icon instead of their buff icon...
Maybe any solution? what file to delete etc.?

Yea its your opinion but Imagine 10 hits of a:
Mage with Magnus: 700 700 700 700 700 700 700 700 4000 700 = 10300 dmg
Mage with POW : 600 600 600 3200 600 600 600 600 3200 600 = 11200 dmg
so 900 more dmg at example..(maybe you can make more mc hits)
So what is the best? :p
But i say again its the opinion of each player..
700 normal and 4k crit?
600 normal 3200 crit?

Till gracia M crit is normal dmg x4,after is x3.
I can't get 700x4=4k also 700x3=4k?

p.s. if server HB+ put also Chant for defence against critical dmg (forgot the name), BTB+BTS in one, Adv block+bless shield in one,emp and mb in one and so on for more space.

Gladiator is mage killer,same as tyrant,for other dunno.
Destroyer isn't the best for sure cause it's farming char not pvp,why?
Slow,low pdef(w/o guts,cause 90% ppl using it are noobs and only think of patk and using frenzy 24/7),low mdef... and so on... It;s an easy frag for every archer/mage and dagger with high evasion.

Summoners are nice, paladin is very good.. but still it depends on skills, equipment and dexterity. The only problem are Titans. If they start with frenzy.... arena is small you know.. they'll catch ya eventually.. and if you got stunned it's your end.
Imo,they will get every stun from magnus unicorn so..

pow is better cuz increase the chance of get mage critical attack, but the bad thing is that pow decrease speed.
for other way
Magnus give the same of pow but magnus dont decrease speed, but give less chance of get magic critical attack.
depends in mass pvp I usually use magnus because 1 mage need hit and run
on exp mode I choose pow.
No,mage needs to crit opponent few times and kill him. How the hell u think sps will kill someone with aqua guard dance,resist water and elem resist,imo even full buffed with 5k matk sps will hit him 500-600 normal hit,so if u want to kill anybody u should crit him as hell!

So these days (especialy) i have seen many fussing about the new features of l2 gracia final. Ok i also to believe that interlude was the best ever chronicle of the history of l2. But all of you who complain all the time that new weaps and armors ruin gameplay just sit for i minute and think. Why do they realy spoil the game? I will try and give an answer to that. Most of you play high rate. What does high rate mean? very big ammount of stats and unballanced gameplay. You ppl complain about dual daggers. Ofcourse in high rate they will pwn. Its normal. But do you know why NC soft is doing it? Cause they are low rate. And to craft something like this (if u know what craft is) will take at least 1 year cause of spoil(if you know this as well) is low and expensive. S grades are hard to get on low rates and the balance is kept in normall ammount. So all the balance is ruined cause u can buy many things that you shouldt ar better not so fast. In zeus the new server is on about 3 months now and their not a single S grade. What about S80? These things wont almost never come out. I mean crafting something like this is harder than crafting C-B-A-S grade together. They need crazy materials and parts wich trust me are hard to obtain.
And i my opinion L2 will always be L2. Some ppl started saying that gracia final is crap and you started following them without even trying it.
This is my opinion about all this flaming towards NC soft. And guess what. NC soft doesnt give a rats *ss about your opinion.

Tbh i didn't try to play lineage 2 with client higher than interlude. On my server soon is hellbound update so i will check... but i'm looking these days to check some gracia servers they are looking very nice for me..

Ok pr0, let's talk about daggers.
For your info, lethel % is based on str, so many ppl fail with those dyes (ofc if they wanna some fast killing, not praying much on lethal).
About AS+haste, hmm you will use it when you are a AW (read: high dmg output, low dex=low atk speed=low skill reuse) but if you are a PW (read: low dmg output, but high dex as hell) so with PW you will ofc use AS+cd (About TH, your choice it's balanced class).
About mages, yes they are easy frags, but it's not 100% you will win, sh makes you slow and you can only watch how wonderful blue hurricanes are getting you down ( Just example, some good nuker would kill YOU on dagger w/o problems).
Hmm archers, until HB you must be an evasion player if you wanna win, HB comes > archers down by every dagger.
Against the tank, like against all classes, you must be ALWAYS BEHIND HIM, ALWAYS, but your only chance to kill tank is to be ALWAYS behind him+focus death (Pray that your tank enemy is slow so he won't see target canceled :D)
After all, you pray too much on bluff, better pray on lethal more than on bluff, in your tactics if bluff fail, you fail, so...
