Thanks SirKuo. I myself love a good 'star wars' l2j server just because they're so pvp chaotic - but that is nothing close to what we have. I've edited my env so that enchants over +30 get crazy so that the gms can look different from the players. Custom gear is not a concept that defines our server AT ALL. Our server at www.l2defined.com is an interesting mixture of the things that make l2 retail, l2 off, and l2j entertaining. That doesn't mean it leans in a particular direction. The idea is that a player who enjoys either of the three game styles can find a place at L2Defined. I understand a lot of people are thinking this is just some 'race to the custom gear' server, but it's just like any old school l2 off server with titanium armors, except there's a cooler looking armor and it's not even available right now. The server is 'custom' in that we custom-made many one-of-a-kind in game systems and custom created the only l2 official freya server out there - not because we have a bunch of custom armors. Give it a try and see what I mean before assuming it will be terrible - this server represents a new age of l2 official. Be a part of it. -Pasick

Post in the forum, let our devs take a look. All the updater is a simple .NET that updates. The exe is a normal exe, protection is not from the updater :). If you've updated fully you should be able to just run the .exe too. -Pasick

It's under maintenance right now. I think you guys should really try the server before just claiming 'custom bullshits'. Rob is right, it's an l2 official server with features that keep the players from getting bored. When you get to level 86 you unlock Elegia gears and when everyone is high enough level we will have new gears to expand the game with. Since when does this qualify as being shitty? the end game is extended so the players dont get bored... give it a chance before you bash it without even trying it

Btw: that custom gear set is just a symbol of how non-boring our server's future is. It has no place in the game yet. It's just what I'm wearing. Right now the top gear you can acquire is s86 (Elegia - only custom part is the gear grade). Lineage II is a free-to-play game where ever you can find it. We've provided a game different from retail and better than java. Our custom items do not clutter the server - they expand game play. Before you just make silly assumptions about quality because of one custom gear set, you should stop by and see how cool our in-game systems are and how well the server runs. I don't think it's fair to say that just by looking at the gear the admin wears... All gear and anything we do will be balanced towards NCSoft's original math\algorhythm. (Including making sure all variables do follow a sane progression percentage from weapon to weapon\skill to skill as NCSoft does). We're hoping people perhaps want a better base to play a HR on, no crashes, no weird skills bugging out cause some project they used updated an engine - or decided to edit a way to calculate damage and so on. This is full on 100% functioning l2 official freya with *currently* no custom gears involved in the game. Come log into the game and see what it's like before pushing us aside - this isn't just another lame server! -Pasick

Nothing to argue about! No L2J uses native L2OFF scripts, always converted data into l2j formats(sometimes with loss of certain l2off only variables). Maybe it makes me a noob, but I need it answered so be nice :P... im using putty to connect to my linux server, and I cant/dont know how to close my login server. I used ps aux command, but the login and game server arent in the menu, where could it be? or where can i see the rest of the menu? Thanks.

After developing the client there for a few days (for free) I realized the owner is a fucking autistic/full of himself dick head that should be as far away from owning a server as a 3 year old should be from owning a business. l2 fileedit. change l2.ini to have your IP correct. then they can connect, supposing everything else is correct

Is there any way to make my raids anti-lethal? Having a bug abuse problem and really need to find a fix for this.
