    Istary actually has over 2k online during South-American prime time.

     

    It's a South American server, a community that hardly ever stops by this forum. This thread is only for advertising to potential european players - which to be fair, we don't have many of you guys, but the invitation is always open.

     

    - There are no bots. Bots are quickly banned if they ever try. In fact, most european clans/CPs that started playing here, got banned for botting.

    - There are about 150 offline shops in Giran.

     

    I wouldn't suggest you to be like Doomus and keep embarassing yourself unless you actually play on the server.

    False. We had our biggest login peak in our history on Monday, with 2300 simultaneous characters playing in our prime time.

    False. Of dozens of clans playing, I'm only aware of 1 clan that has left. Without counting a russian clan that left because their entire clan was botting and got (big surprise) banned.

    RMT is allowed and has always been in our community. To put it simple, we don't care what our players do with their items or characters. If they earned something, they can do whatever they want with that. Either use it, give it away, sell it for adena, sell it for money, we don't care.

    If you read the first pages on this thread, he has been just talking shit since day 1 for different reasons.

     

    1) We range between 1500-2000 players on prime time. It goes low to 400-500 during sleep hours. Remember we are GMT -3
    2) There are way more than 2 clans.

    3) No bots. If you see a bot just tell us and they will be banned. We are online and checking 24/7.

    A lot! We peaked at over 1500 last night, but tonight it's still growing, so I'm guessing its early to tell :P

     

    We are very happy on how things turned out, despite a few clowns trying to throw DDoS attack at us.

     

    The only downside for european players is that the latin-american prime time ends up being a bit late for them, but we have a bunch of players from Europe too regardless of that :)

    I don't understand. Are you just guessing things? Because you are failing horribly at doing so.

     

    - In almost 4 years we have had 0 bot problems. We actually have a good protection system that takes care of most of them - the rest are hunted and banned by me personally.

    - No clans receive any kind of benefits, or coins, or runes, or anything. No matter if they are big or small.

    - As I said before (but I doubt you are actually reading any of my posts since you are just randomly hating on us), you don't need to donate in order to get anything from the shop. You can just get everything for adena if you want.

    All of our servers have had 1500+ players. Here we had over 2000 game accounts (and counting) created in 48 hours.

    Starting now, you will be able to access your Master Account and create all the Game Accounts that you plan to use in the server.

    We also remind you that today, at 20:00hs (GMT-3), the Character Creation will start! Which means - you will be able to access the server, but only up to the character creation/selection screen.     Yes, I kinda agree with you, although we have our reasons. One would be - sadly, if you're familiar with L2OFF, there isn't an "easy way" for one to change the quest rates without breaking a lot of side stuff. I mean, it can be done, but it's actually the other way around - you would only touch the quests that you want to touch. But we have done it before, the thing is - it was a conscious decision not to do it this time around.

     

    Speaking from experience now, and because I think it's an interesting topic to talk about, we have tried different variations of this setup over the years. Last year for example, we increased the quest rates for every "important" quest on Gracia Final, including Varka/Ketra for S Armors, FoG, IT, etc for S weapons, and so on. And while our players were happy at first, the differences between classes that are unbalanced on this chronicle became even bigger than before.

     

    So we take into account our community as well, that happens to be very competitive in nature - consisting on several big groups of players who always try to take the most efficient route possible in order to win (and that was before we started giving prizes in USD!). So, everyone knows mage parties are extremely efficient in Gracia Final's early game, and having quests that boost their ability to quickly farm S-Grade weapon recipes, only helped their case. Basically if you were doing a warrior setup, you were dead on arrival, or your utility would only be reduced to having doombringers in order to support your side's mages.

     

    Any other quests are basically worthless in Gracia Final and touching them would be kinda pointless. Also, since we like the competitive nature of our community, and the fact that the chronicle creates a bottleneck towards the midgame, our players are kinda forced to run into each other and engage in the open world - and compete for the leveling spot.

     

    So our decision ends up being more like a "don't touch what's not broken", because players who seek a Gracia Final server actually want all of that, instead of a spoon-fed gearing system through instances and quests like High Five and so on. So at the end of the day, we decided to increase the drop rate for raids to x7 - incentivizing warrior setups and further giving people more reason to fight each other in the field :)

    Look, sorry if I sound harsh, but after all these years doing this, I've lost my will to be polite towards random haters. And this is the second time that you come here to criticize us for random reasons. So you might as well forget that we exist and move along.

     

    No, you can hardly call a community that's been going strong for almost half a decade (with the same setup) as a "money grab". We have thousands of players, I wonder why is no one complaining? This might be the reason: you purposely missed the most important part of that sentence: it's not just "donation", it's "donation Coins".

     

    Donation Coins are the tradable and sellable currency that our players get after a donation. Unlike most servers, we give the players the ability to do whatever they want with them, from using them to destroying them to selling or trading them to other players. And since the market in Lineage2 is run by the players, you can find private stores selling them for adena since the very first minutes of the server. It has always happened, and it will keep happening.

     

    What does this mean? Our community is fine with it because no one "needs" to donate in order to get Coins. You can just pass through Giran after a few hours of farming, buy the coins you need for adena, and then have your extra +1 box for the rest of the month - or whatever else you want from the shop.

     

    I'd suggest you to inform yourself before talking shit. Or don't - with that mentality you would probably be shark bait for flaming from our players, lol.

    As for the quests - I know. But it's kinda on purpose.

     

    This isn't our first server and we have a quite competitive community - in Gracia Final, it's extremely normal to see mage parties waaay ahead of the rest of the server at launch, both on level and gear.

     

    With this setup (quests being slow, but raids having x7 drop rate), warrior parties are way more viable, since they will have a competitive option for gearing up.
