    Did they release a working patch for win8? posted in the other thread too but seems like they don't really care :)

    Using Win8 also, and have the exact same problem like you. Weird thing is only on some servers, I just ran 2 other server patches without any problems at all. Can't figure out what the problem is,none of the solutions online helped me either..
