i got the same error, i did same in tutorial (even change l2.bin to l2.exe) but the same problem. It seams is not with the program it is with the l2.exe. (i belive after you change the l2.ini the game dont start at all) you cant start the game even with l2.exe after i change l2.ini "i check..
