About a webpage?

Hi guys how can I create a webpage..

Account manager

and donate secion?

 

I've searched the forum but I didn't find anything important.

 

I'm completely anknowledged.Don't say say leave it better because I'm here to try it out.

Well, From my point of view I would describe the webpage into 2 parts.

 

The first one is the Domain, Domain is the name of your webpage.

Eg: www.google.com is a Domain, www.maxcheaters.com is a Domain, L2server.com is a Domain.

 

And the second part is the hoster, Hoster is a machine that will host the files of your domain.

 

By buying a domain, You'll get a "Control panel" of its, there you can set the Nameservers.

Nameservers are the "Identity" of your host.

For example if you buy a host from securesignup, the Nameservers will look like

DNS1.SECURESIGNUP.NET

DNS2.SECURESIGNUP.NET

 

So from the control panel you point the nameservers to securesignup so the domain can "understand" where to fit.

 

If you're newbie tho, There are easiest choices for you like

webs.com

ucoz.com

dot.tk

 

These are absolutely free Domains+Hosting and easy to setup.

The only differance is that you will get a subdomain of its like the type of:

 

chris08.ucoz.com

chris08.webs.com

 

The only one that can give you a Domain without subdomain is .tk (as far I know).

You can try getting your site hosted there for now.

Yeah I will try .tk but I think it will scare the players,considering to be a low quality server.

 

If then I create it to tk can then be registreted in hopzone?

Yes you can get listed @ Hopzone, no worries about that the 60% of the servers listed there have free websites.

Just be sure you follow the listing rules.

most players doesn't take servers with free hosts seriously.

I recommend you to purchase a domain at a webhotel. Might cost a little extra but it's worth it.

 

And if you don't know anything about Websites and more, I do websites and other stuff, includes registration page and so on.

But If you want me to do it for you, then I wont do it for free, just so you know :P
