1st of all happy new year for all of you.

My problem is that im a newbie in l2dev and i dunno what i have to do so other ppl can connect my server,i was a reader until now but i havent seen any section to fix my problem.

 

 

 

P.S  As i said im a newbie in l2dev so apply to my question simple to understand your words

Making Server Public:

1.Enter your rooter

2.Go to Port Confiration

3.Ports for LineageII Are 53,80,7777,2106,9014!

4.When you open these ports on TCP\UPD your server is public.(Do not forget to make confirations in Gameserver  \ Loginserver

 

Also enable your telnet ... in both login and gameserver ( telnet can be found in configs folder in both login and gameserer )

Problem aint solved .. ok a real noob question next.

I dont know if i have rooter or modem :P laught any hour you want but light my head what i have to do if i have modem.

I looked at portforward.com but i didnt see my modem/rooter there,i equip sagem fast 800 if that info can help.

Well i will tell you my whole progress untill(what i done until now).

I puted my ip on external ip,i write my ip to hosts too(c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc),i enabled telnet from gs and ls both,shuted down the firewall.But when i go to a net cafe and i try to log from there i just cant,server dont fill nothing(not even password is incorect).To log from a net 1st i uploaded my system at rapidshare and a copy of a hosts i use in my pc.

I know i write too much already including stupid questions but PLEASE take a min of your day and think something that can solve my problem.I Beg!!

Ok here is another way to oepn your ports

1st of all do you see  down and right in your screen something like that??[circled icon]

 

 

if yes right click it and then press"Change Firewall settings"

then go "Exceptions" and press add port  you add for name whatever you want and in the Number of ports add 53,80,7777,2106,9014 tcp and Udp...hope its helps you

I did that and now i hope that others can log.

Now look the whole progress please and tell me if i did something wrong or i havent done something..

I go to www.whatismyip.com to see my ip,then i go to server.prop and put it there.

I turned on the telnet from ls and gs.

I changed my host from c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc and puted my ip and now it look like :

127.0.0.1 localhost

(my ip)    L2authd.lineage2.com

(my ip)    L2testauthd.lineage2.com

I opened the ports like you said to me.

Now i have to do something else?if yes what?

And if others want to log what they have to do?(share my system to them?,share my hosts to them?)

I hope you can help me ;)

ok now if you want others to connect you have to ways to do that

1)Make hosts [go to your host files c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc open them...delete everything inside and write 127.0.0.1 localhost

                      Your Ip    l2authd.lineage2.com

                      Your Ip    l2testauthd.lineage2.com

 

2)Second way...make a system and share it to your friends

Run fileedit ...press open and decrypt and go to your system folder and open the file l2.ini

When you open it go in the row which says :ServerAddr and put there your ip

Save and encrypt and your ok you can share this system now to others in order to login

When i run the fileedit and press open and decrypt it says to me :

                                  Some File Not Found!

                          Maybe This File Is Not Crypt.

                          Try To Load This File?

 

Is there any corrupt or it have to say that?

you have the official system ...you need one patched system

Now i can see my login it takes my pass of my char and when i press to the bartz to login i cant (its like the screen froze)

any idea why?

and if yes any solution?
