How can i connect more ppl in my server??

My server just let me log in, just me and nobody else. I have a patch and my friend inserted in his l2 folder but when he goes to the l2 starting menu he can't connect?!? How can i make to the server goes not just for me but for all the ppl who use my patch!! PLz hellp me ???

hmm I think you can put it in the hopzone ppl will see it or if you have much votes

@skaraveos, you didn't get what he said...others CANT connect in his server...

@WildForce propably you haven't opened your ports and/or you haven't inserted the proper IP in l2.ini/server.properties

Open Your Rooter Ports Here:http://www.portforward.com/

Then, C:\Server\gameserver\config--->server.properties(ExternalHostname= http://www.whatismyip.com)Put this Ip

and in login server the same thing.

Finally,open l2.ini and find server-address and put your external ip inside.

Thx but i don't know what's my modem name. "IceData" is a name of modems??? Plz repply and when i oppen the l2.ini in system it appears a lot of squares and some words Am' i in the right file???

l2.ini you must open it with file edit or l2ini editor

as nazghoul said you need l2fileedit (a decrypt/encrypt program) to open l2.ini

 

to learn what's your modem/router model try to see what it says over or down the modem/router

just a note: if its a simple modem u cant/dont need to open ports etc.. if its a rooter then yea u need to find the rooter's name..
