[Guide]How to make a flash button

Hello Guys !

Today I will show you how to make a Flash button.

So Let's get started

Step 1

Open Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and from the menu choose ActionScript 2.0

Step 2

Click on the Size Button and set the size to what ever you want ...BUT on this tutoarial i will use

those dimensions : 123x30

Step 3

We zoom a lilttle bit so we can see better ... now you will need a BG(background) I've done mine in PS

with the gradient tool so i will import it in Flash u can do that by going to File-->Import-->Import to libary and browse to the file

or u can simply drag and drop it.

Step 4

Now that we got our BG we must put it and exactly fix it and add a text on it. U can add the text by pressing the T key or choose it from the left-side menu

Now press V key or select the Selection Tool and click somewhere near ur button and press "ctr+a" to select all and now press "Ctrl+G" and after press F8 and select button option and click OK look at the pic

now double click on our button and a "menu" like the one below should appear

Now click on Over option frame and press F6 and after click on down option frame and press F6 so ur menu should look like this now

Now go back to Over Frame and select the text and change it's colour let's say to a green color and now go to over frame and select the text and choose a color a dark green color now we almost finished all we got to do is to save the button so we can use it

Step 5

Go to File-->Publish settings-->And from the menu that appeared deselect the html option and browse the location of the Flash (.swf) file ,Give it a name and click save after, click on publish button and then on OK button

Your DONE !  

TIP:To test ur button press F12 while u are on Flash

PS2:Some of you asked me all the time what program i use to make signatures ...In most part i use PS but some times i use Fireworks or Flash depends on what effects i want to add
