[Help] Error on compile when adding new .java files

Question

Posted

How do I add java shares people post on this forum? I can compile after doing an SVN checkout but if I add any java files to the server i want compiled it errors and doesnt compile. What am I doing wrong? I have all the required programs installed and I can successfully compile a server without any modifications and use my compiled file to run the server fine. I have an image below of the error I got when I tried to add the town siege event.

add the patches manually , delete the + in front of every line , dont use apply patch because not all packs source codes support every kind of patch

Im using the last L2jfree interlude rev and trying to add the town_war.patch (which works on l2jfree). What exactly do I do with the .patch file. Someone said to change the file type to .java and add it to the folder where it needs to go then compile. I have all the required programs installed and can compile a fresh SVN checkout but adding any files will result in a build fail. :( Ive tried adding other files too but its the same problem. If I download a file and it has +'s before every line of the code how do I remove all of them without corrupting the code?

I tried to add town_war.patch but it has +'s on each line of the code and if I try to apply the patch I get this error.

"An unknown line type was found at line 319."

How can I remove the +'s? Is that whats causing the error? Also what if its not a .patch file and its a .java file?
