[HELP] How to set up my config files

Like the topic says im working on my config files and i cant seem to configure them the right way..

 

I've got it set for me to join only atm(127.0.0.1 etc) but if i configure it this way i can only get past the login screen.. and if i wanna join the server my login says that i wanna connect too the server but nothing happens so if someone could help me and tell me how this works that would be great

 

And one more thing if i can get in myself i eventually wanna play with some of my mates how do i set that up?"because i tried but it didnt work when i try to login with my client it does nothing when i press login...

 

 

Ps: Great forum i found alot of usefull stuff and information keep up the good work moderators and the members ofc!! >=]~

About the 1 part of your post , sry dude but i dont understand wich one is the problem u got , that makes u unabalivle to log in your own server

If your want that your friends to log to your server , you have to open the file "hosts" and in the values that says

"127.0.0.1 l2audth.." instead of "127.0.0.1" you have to change it for your no.ip that u choose in no-ip (u have to download that program from the web [search for NO-IP DUC] and u need to have the no-ip activated

the next u have to do is give to modify host file to your friends (they just have to replace it in C: host directory (u know where)

How do i configure my server.prop and login.prop and my hosts so i can join my server local...

 

If this is done i can start making some stuff myself..

 

 

 

Afterthat how do i configure my server.prop login.prop and my host file so i can let other people join and myself ofcourse...

 

 

if you cna give me some examples of the config files and everything i would apriciate it

well if u set 127.0.0.1 to server.prop

u MUST set and 127.0.0.1 to l2.ini also if u have add these lines

127.0.0.1            localhost

127.0.0.1    L2authd.lineage2.com

127.0.0.1    L2testauthd.lineage2.com

with another ip(maybe u played to private server with host)

change the ips to 127.0.0.1
