Used to think the same way as you, until i learned how to do stuff by myself. I've helped my fair share of people on these forums from time to time, mostly through discord DMs, and time and again i've seen the people i helped trying to either resell something I shared with them or trying to sell something very simple at a retarded price/trying to sell information about how to do A, B or C thing, etc. I've seen people go as far as to try to sell 'guides on how to remove "watermarks" from files' (be it texture watermarks or 3d mesh watermarks) Sadly, the reality is that whatever is shared, be it in the form of guides or freeshares, is gonna be taken advantage of to make a profit on brazilian/russian forums by random leechers. Sharing isn't worth it. -
