[Help] Client modification ?

I was wondering if u could modify ur client in order to cheat ?

And where i could take a look at the sourcecode of my own client?

Ok that's a straight answer.. but i would still appreciate it , if u would explain me how to modify/look at the sourcecode..

Hmmm.... Actualy l2 in not only an .exe program... L2 is all the files in you lineage2 directory... Could you specify what you mean by modding?? For example a modification is to make servers name to say p3tr0s than Bartz... Or by using hlapex you can make multiple characters of yours (client side ofcourse)... But there is no point as all the juicy part is server side...

 

However here is a program that will help you decrypt the l2 files of your client...

I don't know yet what to modify but i'll take a look at the files in my l2 directory and make some changes :P

I'll post some results ... atleast if i'll have some ^^

 

Conclusion :

 

U can modify the client to have more fun ingame .. make ur own systemmsg's like "You cannot move while sitting" -> "Get ur lazy ass up" etc.

But u can't modify ur client in order to cheat ... all data is server side.
