HI i try some times to install anti bot for smf but evrey time i got the same error

An Error Has Occurred!

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

 

can understand it bcuz i have add chmod on this folder/file so

put the file with ftp in forum directory/packages and then install it from your admin menu

i did but its still the same dunno why

oh right, sorry, check your packages folder permissions, it should be 755 if I'm not wrong, I'll check

y i have check it now again its all fine but i still get this error

put your source files permissions to 777 and do a foldet named temp in packages directory with the same permissions 777

same error i have try to update my forum now but i go there the same error to i ahve make a new folder who u told me check on google but still the same nvm i will try how to fix it ty anyway

i doubt about smth, give me a print screen showing that ur source files got 777 permission

i have download from admin panel and try to install dont work

i have upload to ftp dont work to

i have extract it upload it give them chmod and and i put it in a zip dont work to dunno what do now

you can do the changes to the files manually... let me search more
