[Help] Making custom armor - itemname-e.dat/armorgrp.dat [L2FileEdit] concern.

Question

Hello MXC,

I'm trying to make armor with custom stats, while using existing (Apella) armor.

So, I did found armor, what I was looking for,  from this forum [share] Titanium Armor ( Freya )

I've got a little problem while working with itemname-e.dat and amrorgrp.dat

itemname-e.dat Error:

| Opening file: itemname-e.txt
===========================================
| - ======= Save & Encode {14.10.2012 - 11:16:53} ======= -
| Save File: itemname-e.txt
| File creation: decitemname-e.dat
| - Can not create file: dec-itemname-e.dat
===========================================

And armorgrp.dat Error (basically same error):

===========================================
| - ======= Save & Encode {14.10.2012 - 11:16:21} ======= -
| Save File: armorgrp.txt
| File creation: decarmorgrp.dat
| - Can not create file: dec-armorgrp.dat
===========================================

I'm using L2-File-Editor- v2 for Freya by S[1].Felix. Also tried File Edit CT2.6 By Sovan.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix?

Regards,

rinks

This file editors are very strict when they encript the file again. Make sure you havent forgot any character out, for ex [TAB] or [ENTER] for last row (at least my editor requires that).

If that doesnt work, try to add lines 1 by 1 till you figure out where is the problem or simple copy from your apella set and just replace the textures and ids.

Problem solved. I added lines 1 by 1. Worked for me. Thx!
