[HELP] Making a Interlude Server Public

Question

Posted

Hello Maxcheaters...

Since few weeks i've a Interlude server on my Computer running on Localhost.

But now i want to know how i set it Public, so others can play on it?.

And another question, is it possible to play on Hamachi ? If the public way doesn't work for me? If so.. is there a guide for setting it public ?

If not, can someone do it for me via TeamViewer? You can add me on my Facebook for more informations...

Depending what pack you use (probly frozen...) there are configs, usually the IP's and stuff is in loginserver and gameserver.(properties or ini).

[Gameserver.properties]

# Configure your external ip
ExternalHostname = what is your IP

# Configure your internal ip
InternalHostname = 127.0.0.1

Internal hostname is usually localhost or DNS. External hostname is your actual IP (here to find your IP). It is NOT NECESSARY to use a no-ip, it does not stop 'hackers' and stuff (well maybe 14 yr old greek teens). Once you did that, you need to portfoward, then configure your l2.ini so others can log in.
