*** Tutorial applies to: Windows Vista and Windows 7

- The difference between 32-bit and 64-bit OS:

1. x86 - 32-bit Windows-and:

that require 32-bit processor (if you have 64-bit processor you can have 32-bit OS on it - "backwards compatible") and support up to 3.5GB of RAM. So if you put 4GB of RAM Windows will operate using working memory to the limit.

2. x64 - 64-bit Windows-and:

that require 64-bit processor. Maximum memory supported by different versions of Windows:

* Starter: 8GB

* Home Basic: 8GB

* Home Premium: 16GB

* Professional: 192GB

* Enterprise: 192GB

* Ultimate: 192GB

*** Once you have selected''OS''you can start the installation:

1. Backup data:

Be sure to backup all important data that you need to (put / burn to CD / DVD or via USB)

2. Place the CD / DVD drive as a''First Boot Device'':

To do this by restarting your computer and press the "Del" -''Delete''during its ignition. You need to get into the BIOS Setup''''. There you enter the "Standard CMOS Features", then set it to you''First Boot Device CD / DVD''. After that, go to "Save & Exit Setup".

3. Starting the Installation

Insert the installation DVD of Windows in the computer and restart it. When will the new burning at the bottom of the screen to get the message: "Press any key to boot from CD / DVD ". Press a button and wait until the installation starts (takes a few seconds to minutes). Choose your language settings that you want and go''Next''.

4. Upgrade / Advanced install:

After a few clicks on the button next to where you consent using OS you will find a window where you can choose between the''upgrade''and''Advanced''(clean) installing.

- Upgrade: You can click only if you have a previous version of Windows OS and want to keep your data. As I have said to back up data because they may lead to their disappearance. If you backup anyway you want to choose''Upgrade''or''Advanced''(Clean) Install.

- Advanced (Clean) Install: So here is erasing all data and installs the new version of Windows. Also recommended backing up data. After that experience the new features. With "New" create a new partition and specify the size of the counter in MB. Then select the option''format''to format the desired partition (all data from that partition will be lost). Then, you click on the partition where you want to install''OS''and click''Next''.

5. Finish the installation:Finally, wait to take it all installed. The process is automatic, perhaps you can ask for a couple of language and similar settings during installation. Your computer during installation may reboot a few times, but do not worry it's all part of the installation. After Windows is installed and for the first time you see a fully functional''Desktop''install''Driver''s provided by the manufacturer''Hardware'' and attached to components and switch''Backup'' for shared data back to the computer.
