getting an error when I try to install the 64bit Java
-----------------------------------------------------

okay so Java 64 bit I have to install in the Program Files folder then?
-
Program Files (x64) doesn't exist I've had all my OS's 64 bit the last few years and it's always Program Files (x86) and a folder Program Files..
-
program files (x86) = 64bit
however you tell me to wipe the 32bit java off my pc again and just install the 64bit again :(?
-
well the java works fine but with the 64bit java and 64bit eclipse it wont work and with the full 32bit stuff it does
-
well that's the problem 64bit doesnt work anymore thats why i posted this : http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=113444.0 the only way I could get it fixed was to start using 32bit java and eclipse

JAVA_HOME
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_17
than you dont need java path in the batch file o.O which java you have in the system variables
Well that solved my problem about a year ago but I cant remember what it was.

-
Did that but it was somthing in the batch file i had to add like the path to it

Here you can find the basics etc. for designing websites and editing HTML files: " http://www.w3schools.com/ " just click on "Learn HTML" and you can find the basics for it =D good luck
-
no problem if it doesnt work just tell us ;)
-
Well you can just edit it with notepad or for the webdesigners most use Adobe Dreamweaver.
-
well you could ask your friend to send you the file "droplist.sql" then make a query in your database and run it.
-
When I run "startGameServer" I'm getting this error does anyone know how to fix this?
Java is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Thanks in advance :)

@ontopic

If you have troubles with 64b versions install all 32bit (java and eclipse).
That works thanks ;)
-
well i give you steps
1.Uninstall eclipse and delete folder workspace
2.Download this version eclipse http://www.fyxm.net/Eclipse-77678.html
3.if download and install try open eclipse and save folder your workspace
4.if your problem persist again uninstall java and download other version
5.may also be another problem with the appropriate version for your hardware
Hmm well its 32 bit that eclipse and i need 64 :S do you maybe have that one too?
EDIT:
I downloaded a 64bit eclipse version 3.5 again and now the error is gone but it just won't do anything when I try to run "eclipse.exe" any suggestions?
-
okay i'll try thanks in advance ;)
EDIT:
Doesn't work any other solutions :S ?
-
Having 64bit OS I would rather choose 64bit software.
Well i've got 64bit eclipse and java 64 bit so it shouldnt have any problems :S
Try to install java x32 version
Do i have to delete my 64bit then or just install it in another folder?
-
could you share the recipe and the error? without it its almost impossible to solve this problem
