    1 year after and I can't even get that far. With Parallels Desktop 18 I go as far as "Could not start the service", that being the windows SmartGuard Service.

    So both Apple and Microsoft seem to not making any effort to have an official Windows ARM that can be installed as dual boot in MacBooks with ARM processors. In the other hand Apple will invest in these processors more and more, meaning they most likely will drift appart. Even though Parallels Desktop is a virtualization software, it ensures a single execution, could you see that one is able to execute it or at least let us know what does this error stand for?
