omgwtf l2p.bravehost.com anyone?

I run linux, and gameguard can't be emulated there, so I need something to bypass it. The server I play on uses engine rev 659. I've been looking around for various solutions, and so far I've found some info: It seems I need to modify nwindow.dll, engine.dll and (maybe) l2.exe. -Tried using some old l2-c4 patcher utility by L2Chef and Voodoo, turns out to give some "GG failed to load" error. -Found some chineese tutorial, translation is kind of blurry tho. -Tried to disasm those files, but my knowledge is not good enough to make any progress yet. -If I use engine.dll(rev656)/nwindow.dll from older patch, the game loads alright, won't accept login. When I use engine rev659 and older nwindow, I can get to server selection screen, but that's about it. Any tips? Btw, is it possible to modify those files myself, without having sufficient knowledge?
