Can this Source be used for an online server?

You should never use a preconfigured pack for a live server, although you have the source, if you really need/want then implement each feature from scratch, I don't even know if the compiled project or even the source has backdoors inside, and truth to be told, 99,9% have at least one lying around.
Makes me wonder though in each release people already think of going live with something like that, it's kinda sad, but ok, it's not up to me to judge that.
So I asked friend, I will not use the pre-configured, I became interested in the source.I just want to know if you can assure me that the l2cerberus server used this same project!Thanks :) -
Someone with more experience, can inform me if I can use for an online server with this project ??If the project needs protections, I buy them.I would like to know if anyone has heard of the server that used this project and if it lasted ...I will be very grateful to anyone who can help me!
