Hello guys.I want to ask something about my PS3.I am using internet on it,because i'm playing online games too.Now i want to ask something,will be harmful for my ps3?I mean,maybe from internet i have virus or something like this?Just to be sure.

if u log only at online games no.. if you log at another sites maybe yes if they have a virus.

why to use internet broswer on my ps3 and not on my pc?:P

btw yes i am only playing online games.

No risk at all, you only have risk with ps2 and xbox (cos you can download games which are not the original) with ps3 you cant do that.

i don't use ps2 or even xbox.So i don't have to be afraid?

And something else,do you know if ps3 has something like antivirus/protection for virus and all these?

1st of all, you dont even have to worry about viruses on the ps3 the ps3 is based of a Linux Operating system. You, your children, and their children will die before your playstations "Catches" something.

 

But if you wanna try smt (i dont know if this is still working)

 

1.Update the PS3™ system software by selecting [settings], and then [system Update].

2.Launch the PS3™ Internet browser, and press the △ button to open the menu.

3.Choose Browser Security, and then select Trend Micro™ for PS3™.

4.Either select a free trial or purchase the service. If you make a purchase using PS3 Internet browser, the service will be enabled automatically.
