Something wrong with java. Reinstall again the java client , always according to MxC guides.

edit gameserver. and change both Xmx8024m to Xmx1536m (i using that, i have xp, so 3GB max RAM :) ) and all features and geodata+pathnode loads without any problem for me :)

 

btw how many ram you have? it depends on that.

1st the max heap size is not equal to your systems memory

2nd your math indeed weird

3rd thats ok only if you have 64bit  system

i think if you put 1024 will be fix this if no reinstall java  :D
