hey! we're not using any forked project, nor someone's elses files (not client files nor server files), even the majority of the server emulation was mostly done by ourselves! Here's the bit of the disclaimer that explains that:

L2 Bellion is a Lineage 2 Server emulation made completely from scratch, with various years of hard development, done by people with a lot of dedication and effort put on it. This is our project, it is NOT a forked project, neither a stolen code from someone else. We hope you take the time to read carefully every piece of info we may post here. As well, we hope you come to us with no hesitation if you have questions or suggestions!

Small update on buffers, clans and patrols!

- Each class has its own respective buff/debuff slots. Buffs provided by the NPC Buffer will not have a time duration limit.

- Buff limit of a class is shown when speaking to a NPC Buffer.

- If a buff takes a buff slot, it'll be properly described within it's description.

- We've added a bunch of buff presets for most classes, though, you might still want to learn how buffs work to get the biggest possible advantage out of them, as each class has its own orientation.

Buffs2.png

- You can also easily create your own buff presets. To create one, you need to select your buffs manually, or choose an existing preset and customize it, and then simply click the 'Save current buffs as a preset' button. Buff presets created by you can be easily edited or replaced with new ones.

Buffs3.png

- After a beta stage, we might consider to simply remove all buffs from the game and create new updated ones, since they don't really have that much customization and stuff, as there isn't that much to choose. We'll see.

- All Elemental buffs were removed because of how the new Elemental System works.

Clans / Patrols

- A new clan management NPC has been added. It'll tell you the requirements to create and upgrade your clan patrol or alliance, and allow you to manage them.

Clan01.png

- Our idea is to make it so every clan member will have to make their own contribution to the clan in order to make it progress.

clan.gif

- Instead of having 11 useless clan levels, clans will now have up to 6 levels, and start at level 0 when created. Each level will also now provide its own rewards, and will have its own requirements.

[Level 1]

- +5 Max Members. - Allows you to buy Level 1 Clan Skills. - Allows you to set a Clan Crest. - Unlocks Clan Warehouse. - Makes it possible to earn Clan Reputation.

[Requirements]

- 1 Glittering Medal

[Level 2]

- +5 Max Members. - Allows creation of the 1st Royal Guard. - Allows you to siege Fortresses and Siegeable Halls.

[Requirements]

- 2 Glittering Medals & 5k Clan Reputation.

[Level 3]

- +5 Max Members. - Allows creation of an Alliance. - Unlocks Ally Crest. - Allows you to buy Level 2 Clan Skills. - Allows you to begin a Clan War with a clan of the same level or higher. - Allows you to use Command Channel. - Allows you to buy a Clan Hall.

[Requirements]

- Proof of Aspiration & 5k Clan Reputation.

 [Level 4]

- +5 Max Members. - Allows creation of the 2nd Royal Guard. - Allows you to siege Castles. - Allows you to upgrade your castle. (More info about this later) - Adds 'Build Headquarters' skill.

[Requirements]

- Proof of Strength, 5k Clan Reputation, and have had possession of a Fortress at least once.

[Level 5]

- +5 Max Members. - Allows creation of two Orders of Knights. - Unlocks Clan Emblem.

[Requirements]

- Proof of Determination, 5k Clan Rep, and have participated at least once in a Castle Siege (doesn't matter if you win or lose)

[Level 6]

- +5 Max Members - Allows creation of two Orders of Knights. - Allows you to buy Level 3 Clan Skills.

[Requirements]

- Proof of Domination.

Clan War will affect the reputation system of Clans and Patrols. If you die to someone who you're in war with, your clan will lose some Clan Reputation points, and vice-versa. Additionally, killing someone from a clan you're in war with, will increase your own personal Rank Points.

This server looks crazy good. I love passion projects that think outside of the box. You have to keep in mind that initial interest may be low because L2 players are used to servers opening and closing left and right and since you reworked a shitton of stuff, it would require them to learn a lot of shit from scratch, resulting in them rather not even trying in the first place. I hope you guys will be succesful tho, you deserve it. Good luck!

hey, thanks for the feedback! we're quite aware of that, so we're trying to add ingame info in a way that's not overwhelming (unlike this post), we'll see how it goes after a small beta 🙂

We´ve added a brand new client-sided character stats panel attached to the normal Status WIndow:

Every single stat has its own description when you put your mouse over them, in case you don't know how a stat works.

Relying on big mainstream companies do to such creative work is only naive to say the least. it would be a rare thing to see. They care for money only. Its just business.
