Looking for C++ information regarding rGuard

Recommended Posts

Well was searching to delete some files in my HDD, when I found an old c++ project of rGuard with sources of dsetup.dll so I was wondering if this is the ancestor of smartguard and if it worth of making a new project out of it, my aim would not be $ but for free.

I can imagine a web application to control the server's options, statistics of users and more.

I can see is a free protection for everyone.

thoughts?

Will be usefull if you will add many comments in code and fix some not better implementations. I have First-Team Guard project C++ for Visual Studio 2010. If i'm not mistaken this project uses base GG packets. Smart-Guard uses 0xFF packet array.

its work on interlude, just need to clean code, because code have unused functions and etc.

And its have one problem, you get critical error on Olympiad Monument hero list table.

Visutal Studio 2010.

Hi.

Open source protection does not stand a chance against developing bots and other regularly updated software. At least ring3 applications.

Security through obscurity is the most common way nowadays.

Not really. We use combination of both to get the best out of what Windows can offer and so far so good.
ring0 will not help you with everything though but it certainly aids
